And that is why I absolutely love my Simple Wishes hand free pumping bra, it makes pumping a little more feminine and discreet.
When I first started using a double electric pump I sat and held the pumps against my body, and the only thing I could do was sit there and look out the window or watch television. I couldn't read a book, work on the computer, or even tend to the baby while I pumped since my hands were otherwise occupied. Not only that, but I always felt awkward - pumping is not the most modest thing a girl can do around her home, let alone in front of her children who tend to ask questions about everything!
I had seen the Simple Wishes pumping bustier online prior to the review opportunity, and thought it was ingenious as well as intimidating. After enjoying it now for a few weeks I can honestly tell you that it is fabulous and yes, initially intimidating, but not at all cumbersome. After you customize it to fit your body it becomes exactly what it's name implies...a Simple Wish...
There are a few details of the Simples Wishes hands free pumping bra that I feel would be better relayed via video rather than the written word. These are things that I didn't know about prior to my own experience with Simple Wishes, and what I think is valuable information when considering a purchase. However, most of these points were made in the official Simple Wishes video available to view on their website, so they don't need to be reiterated here, although I will make mention of a few particular aspects of the bra that I appreciate:
- From the packaging to the product, attention to detail has been paid in full. Not only is the product presentation special, but you immediately know that you're in good hands.
- Don't let the utilitarian look turn you off. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that the fabric is so soft, and it really is much more feminine than I imagined!
- It is highly customizable, and the sizing is generous.
- And my very favorite feature of the bra is the area where the breast-shields go, which features two layers of opposing fabric, so that when pumping occurs, the body parts that might "peek out" are covered.
