Organically Grown Kids Clothing - Giveaway!

Continuing with the earth month theme, I would like to introduce you to Organically Grown, a young and innovative company that "believes in your right to affordable, safe, stylish, high-quality organic products" ranging from apparel and home decor to personal care items.

Organically Grown has just introduced their spring line of adorable clothing for babies and toddlers made from 100% organic cotton. The use of organic cotton instead of traditional cotton is important because it is grown and harvested using methods that have a low impact on the environment. Just as we would be cautious of putting any pesticide-laden produce in our mouths, so we should when considering the clothing we wear. Traditional cotton is treated with pesticide, and when it is turned into clothing it is treated with materials such as flame and soil retardants, ammonia, and formaldehyde (ew!).

I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with Organically Grown and offer one lucky reader an item of children's clothing from their new spring line! The kids collection is comprised of adorable two-piece outfits for boys and girls in sizes 12-24 months, and 2T-4T. With the cute and eco friendly slogans on each of the sets’ t-shirts, your toddler can wear their heart on their sleeve with a new message every day of the week! Also, be sure to check out their infant collection! Some of the best sellers include three-piece sets withbaby gowns, body suits, jackets, pants, blankets and hats, all on padded hangers and priced between $12-38.

To enter, all you need to do is leave me a comment below telling me why organic is important to you! Please include your email address so that I may contact you in the event you are the winner!

This giveaway will close on Wednesday, April 21st, and a winner will be chosen at random using random.org. Winner will have 48 hours to reply or a new winner will be chosen. Organically Grown will provide the winner with an item of clothing at their discretion from their new spring line based on winner's choice of gender and clothing size.

This giveaway has closed. Congratulations to #15, Jessie!

Uncompensated review/giveaway.

I'm from MBC! I agree with a previous poster... I didn't think much about going organic until I had my baby. Now I pay attention to every chemical or unnatural thing that comes in contact with my childs skin or mouth. My job is to protect her and give her the best, healthiest life I can! If it costs a little more... then that's a sacrifice I am willing to make. It's not easy... but to me it's important.

I like to try not to expose my baby to unnecessary chemicals. We cloth-diaper because I hate the idea of chlorine against her skin.

Organic is important to me because of my daughter's allergies. We also choose organic due to the fact that it's just better all around for their skin, the environment and they are all around better made products (in my honest opinion).

I'd like for my children's lifetime to as free and natural as I can make it. One way is to embrace an organic lifestyle, and hopefully they will be healthier and more consicous consumers.

My 83 year old grandfather just clued me in to how important organic is for proper healthy nutrition. He outlined the way he has always farmed organic soybeans many years ago. Ever since that story, I am a believer.

I prefer to use items in our house that are natural. Once our precious baby arrived, we became even more aware of what we use in our home and on our bodies. With his sensitive we are even more cautious and are always looking for natural products...we can't wait to try Organically Grown!
